Hotel Blue Horizon

We have been in Italy for about a 90 days now unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. We had booked 4 rooms. One of the rooms the ac unit stopped working during the heat wave. They were not able to to fix it until the final day of our 3 day stay. A few little things in the room also were not right. The door would close shut unless u played with it. The window blocker got stuck, the walls are very thin between rooms. Back to the ac they brought us a fan the first night and brought us a portable ac unit the second night. When food is included in your stay you expect it not to be great and the food 2 out of the 3 nights was the worst food we had all trip. They offer a shuttle from the hotel to the beach and back. It’s often late and though you request a time to come back it’s a free for all when they come to pick u up or drop u off to get in the shuttle. For the plus the pool and view was the best part of the hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful. If the food was a bit better and we didn’t have the issue with the ac I would have given a higher rating

Horizon Blu Hotel, wow, great 5-Star hotel, excellent food, service, facilities & location. On Kalamata Beach with large pool and grounds. The breakfast was amazing and probably one of the best we had on the Peloponnese. We stayed in a ‪Superior Room Sea View room, which was spacious with a large terrace overlooking the pool and beach. Staff were super attentive. Hotel provided complimentary bicycles which was a great way to see Kalamata. The shopping was great with many fashion stores and the better known department stores such as H&M and Zara. We ate in the hotel many times as the meals are Greek inspired and modern, but the beach is full of tavernas mainly seafood and many bars. ‬Kalamata, Peloponnese, Greece #HorizonBluHotel #Kalamata #Peloponnese #Greece
